Spiritual Growth
Offerings for Faith Groups
The staff at Cedar Cross is pleased to offer a variety of "traveling" workshops
and retreats that may be more accessible or convenient for faith groups that
cannot travel to Cedar Cross. For details about these offerings, click here.
Quiet Days
First Tuesday of every month, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm.
The first Tuesday of each month is set aside as quiet time at Cedar Cross. Members of
the residential community may offer a brief morning devotional as well as prompts for
reflection, although participants are always invited to follow their own path. A simple
lunch is provided and a prayerful closing ends our time together. Please let us know if
you plan to come. Cost: Love offering appreciated.
Community
Days
One weekend per month, usually 6 pm Friday to 4 pm Saturday.
Planned by the Cedar Cross Mission Group, this 24-hour period of work, play,
prayer, and rest is open to others who would like to learn more about
community life at Cedar Cross. Cost: No charge. Call 252-431-0829 for upcoming

"Art and Yoga"
Friday, April 30, 6:00 p.m. - Sunday, May 2,11:00 a.m.
A retreat using experiences in art and yoga to unlock our creativity and empower each of
us for the next steps in our lives. CO-LEADERS: Page Davis, a professional
artist who has shown throughout the southeast and on the west coast. She received her
Masters of Art from The Savannah College of Art and Design. She currently paints and
teaches in her studio in Spartanburg, SC. Jen Davis,RYT, a certified
yoga teacher living Raleigh, NC. She has been practicing for over six years and is amazed
at the body's ability to rejuvenate and transform itself through the practice of yoga.
COST: $220 (includes 5 meals, leadership and lodging); $250 after

"Spirit and Nature"
Friday, May 21, 6:30 p.m. - Saturday, May 22, 4:00 p.m. Gift yourself
a block of time to come away into our beautiful natural setting to experience
and explore the relationship between spirit, nature and our soul's growth. In this retreat, we will use
music, poetry, laughter, story, our experiences, and the natural world as subjects for reflection,
wonder and learning. CO-LEADERS: Suzanne Hayes, a biodynamic, craniosacral therapist,
and Nancy Newell, spiritual director and retreat leader who lives and works at Cedar Cross.
COST: $100 (includes 3 meals, leadership and lodging); $120 after May 10. For registration form,
